Happy 4th of July
I hope everyone had as great 4th of July as we did. We started our day running out the door to go see our local parade. For such a small town it was really a long parade. The highlight for the girls would be horses they were able to see up close and the floats throwing candy. We were so hot afterwards so we decided to go for some ice cream. Steve's Homemade Ice Cream is our favorite around here. The girls enjoyed kids scoops with gummy bears on top (yuck!), the loved it though.

After a nap we had our friends over for some water play for the kids and lounging under the misters for the adults. The girls played so hard and we so so tired but there was still fireworks to see. We piled everyone in the car and drove to fireworks area, opened the back of the van, put out some chairs and wait ready for dusk. Once the fireworks started the girls were enthralled with them. It was Addy's first time seeing fireworks and it has been a few years for Kate.
