Addison James's Birthday

Addison is now three! September 6 is her birthday. When she woke up Kate and I had fun telling her that today is Addy's birthday. She was so excited. She got this great big grin on her face and said "Addy Happy Birsday?" We said yes today you are three years old. She walked out of the bedroom through a curtain of streamers into the living room where her presents were waiting for her. Jim and I gave her a doll stroller for her many buddies and dollies that she loves so much. Addy was so distracted by all the fun balloons on the floor that at first she didn't even notice the stroller. Then she opened a box from Grandma and Grandpa Platt. In it was a remote control car that flips over. She loves the remote car and is still figuring out that if she wants it to stop all she has to do is take her finger of the button. All day long Addison was dancing around the house singing "Happy Birsday Addison" . Addy doesn't really eat cake so we decided to make homemade ice cream instead of a cake. We even stuck a candle in it and sang Happy Birthday and then she blew out the candle. A very good day over all. This weekend will be a joint birthday party for Katelyn and Addison with all their friends.
